WHALEN, Clara Mary- passed away peacefully January15, 2003, at Hillsdale Manor, Oshawa in her 100th year. Clara Whalen, beloved wife of the late Reg Whalen. Loved mother of Estelle Carswell and Rose Marie Caskenette of Oshawa. Loving grandmother of Bill Janice, Gary Sue and Randy Olivia of Oshawa, David Karry of Kitchener, Tom Mary of cambridge, Rick and Danny of North Bay, and Carol Anne Gerry of Oshawa. Survived by 9 great-grandsons and 3 great-granddaughters. Predeceased by her son in law Robert Carswell and grandsons Robert J. Carswell and Alan Caskenette. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle-Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia on Saturday from 10 to 12 and 1 to 2. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday at the Church of the guardian Angels. Spring interment at St. Michaels Cemetery Orillia. Memorial donations to the CNIB or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
