To my daughter Mary Gore one negro woman named Silvey. To my daughter Salley McCollom one negro boy named David. To my daughter Dillia Carter one negro boy named Harry and one negro woman named Rachel and her children Clarlinda, one feather bed, bed sted and furniture, and 75 acres of land part of Henderson's tract joining the big survey. To my daughter Anna Carter one negro boy named Jack and one negro man named Sam and one feather bed, bed sted and furniture & one side saddle. To my son John Carter one negro man named Dick and 50 acres of land. part of a tract bought from Eli Gore, where he now lives. To my son Blake Carter 75 acres of land. part of a tract bought from Henderson joining Eli Cornwell and lying on the creek and $600 in cash. To my son Churchill Carter one negro man named Dan. To my son Joseph Carter one negro man named Rheuben and one negro boy named Peter and the tract of land I now live on and the balance of Gore's tract containing 200 acres more or less joining of this tract I now live on, and one feather bed and furniture, and half of my present crop that is now growing. To my grandchildren Churchel Carter son of Elizabeth Long. $100 in cash. all the balance of my money in hand or owing to me is to be equally divided betwixt my nine children John Carter, Churchill Carter, Joseph Carter, Charrity Roden, Elizabeth Lee, Dillie Carter, Mary Gore, Anna Carter, and Sally McCollom. appoint my son Joseph Carter and my friend Leonard Pratt, exrs.. 27 July 1820.
