Despite Bertha (Wenzel) Conrad being a contact of "White Creek", I have not spent a lot of time researching the Wenzel surname. Therefore, I do not know if the surname is of Palatine origin, as are most of the early Urbana pioneers.

"White Creek" does not have many with this surname in his Legacy Computer Program. This family links with the Mattern Family, from the Palatinate. Through the Matterns, they also link to Schwartz.
