    Death Certificate of Christian Stolz

    In the year one thousand, eight hundred and thirty, the fourth of the month October at nine o'clock in the morning, appeared before Adam Lanzer, mayor (or acting, also appointed) administrator of the civil registry of the municipality Ransweiler Canton Rockenhausen, District Kaiserslautern, in the Rhine province of the Kingdom of Bavaria:

    Heinrich Huppewich, Farmer, forty years old and Michael Amos the second, thirty-two years old, both dwelling in Ransweiler, the former brother-in-law of the dead person and the latter a neighbor.

    Declared that Christian Stolz, fifty-three years old, farmer and Blacksmith, living in Ransweiler, husband of Caroline Susanna née Müller, and son of the late forester Wilhelm Stolz, who died in Neubau, and his wife née Eissel.

    Dead on the second of the month of October at two o’clock in the afternoon in the municipality Ransweiler in house number twenty-two, and to attest this the following witnesses have set their signatures to the document, after it was read.
