Christian Parris/Paris born 1767 in Rutherford Co. NC would likely be the Daughter of George Pearis/Parris (son of George Pearis of Winchester, VA, d. 1752). The three Pearis brothers (George, Richard and Robert) sold everything they owned near Winchester, VA in 1763 and moved to old Tryon Co. Carolina. Richard at the present site of Greenvile SC and George in what is now Rutherford Co. George had two sons George and Robert (western Virginia). He seems to have named his children after his siblings. I speculate that this George Pearis(Parris/Paris) is the source of most Paris families in Rutherford County, NC.
