This LANG Family has roots in Switzerland. The original family migrated to the Palatinate, where their history begins in the year 1664. In America the surname became LONG. They first settled in Germantown, Pennsylvania in circa 1683.

Our interest in this family is the connection with the early pioneers of Wabash County, Indiana, who married with the early Palatine settlers who arrived in the Urbana, Indiana area.
