    'Christian Bächtold, b. c1595. He was listed as an Anabaptist at Schleitheim, Schaffhausen, Switzerland in June 1640 with Vincenz Meyer and Samuel Peyer (Beyer). He was listed again as an Anabaptist in 1641 with Vincenz Meyer, Gratze Pletscher and Samuel Peyer. He was imprisoned again as an Anabaptist on 30 Sep 1642, because he had previously escaped from prison. He was an Anabaptist of Schleitheim, Schaffhausen, Switzerland who was whipped in 1648 and ordered out of the country. He was married to Anna Meyer.'
