    [Note: the memorial page reports the death month as June even though the gravestone appears to say Jan. (appears to clearly be an 'a', and no 'e'}. This was probably influenced by the Vermont Vital Record which also appears to have misread the gravestone? The birth date is given as 19 Aug 1763 even though no birthplace or parents are reported. One would suspect this comes from a family Bible, but the basis is not explained. The font used on the gravestone does not distinguish '3' and '5' very well, but the 5 has more of a slant and the gravestone appears as transcribed which differs from what the memorial page says.]
