Jan. 30, 1862. Widow Whipple [died, age] 88.
[Note: this source lists Mr. Whipple's death in 1856 on the previous page, so it seems likely that that is Ichabod, and Chloe is the widow Whipple. There are no Whipples listed in the genealogical coverage, nor other mention of a Whipple dying about this time. Ichabod and Chloe are listed in Rindge in the 1850 census, line 8-9 living with their daughter, but after Ichabod dies in 1856, in 1860, line 18 she is found in Winchendon (still with her daughter). So this death notice seems feasible as to date, but the age is wrong, and it may or may not represent the location of her death? This date is given as Chloe's death date in Source:Saunders, Morton W. Kempton-Kimpton Families in North America, p. 60.]
