Sun Herald, The (Biloxi, MS) March 18, 1998 Funeral Services: Graveside at 11 a.m. Thursday in Tom Mills Cemetery in Wayne County.

GULFPORT -- William C. Mills, 74, died Sunday, March 15, 1998, in Gulfport.

Mr. Mills was born in Wayne County. He worked at Teledyne Irby Steel after retiring from Air National Guard Training Center as Security Guard for 13 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Mills; and his parents, Chester and Besie Newell Mills.

Survivors include two sons, Clarence Ray Mills of Saucier and Ellsworth Pope Davis of Gulfport; a daughter, Patricia Dianne Johnson of Gulfport; a sister, Evelyn Cochran of Clara; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49 North in Gulfport. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Tom Mills Cemetery in Clara.
