Charles L. Wilcox, 85, of Pana died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in his home.

He was born April 9, 1923 in Rosamond, IL, the son of Charles & Mary Bettes Wilcox. Charles was a graduate of Rosamond Township High School Class of 1942. He lived his entire life in the Rosamond-Pana area and was retired from A.E.Staley in 1989 after 25 years. He started his working years as a dairy farmer until 1968 when he moved to Pana. Charles was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Pana; Pana Knights of Columbus; Pana Lions Club; Compassionate Friends; Ombudsmen; Pana Quarterback Club; and Pana Marriage Encounter.
