[Board.FBC.FBK.FTW] Charles Whiteside Tulare--Graveside services for Charles Wendall Whiteside, 72, of Tulare will be conducted tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Tulare Cemetery. Carole Shaffer, Christian Scientist reader, will conduct the services. Whiteside, who passed away Saturday in a Tulare hospital, was a life-long resident of Tulare. Whiteside managed a drive-in restaurant for 15 years before becoming a distributor for the Tulare Advance Register newspaper for 10 years until retiring. He was married in 1928 to Mada Jameson. Whiteside was also a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist of Tulare. He is survived by his wife, Mada Whitside of Tulare; one son, George Wendall Whiteside of Tulare; two daughters, Wanda Whiteside of Visalia and Charlotte Arnold of Seal Beach; one sister, two brothers, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be under the direction of the Goble Funeral Chapel in Tulare.
