C. B. Wales, foundryman (of the firm Butts & Wales) was born in Northfield, Vt., in 1845 and came to Allegany county with his parents when an infant. His father, Benjamin Wales, was born in Roxbury, Mass., in 1810. C. B. Wales has been engaged in the grocery business at Cuba, and has also been employed as a commercial agent. He married Miss Amelia L. Butts, of Friendship.
