    At the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 30, 1977, Charles R. Scheerer, of Etherl, in his 73rd year.
    Beloved husband of the dear Hilda Jonas and dear father of Mrs. Clifford (Ruby) Querengesser of Ethel and Kenneth of Goderich. Dear brother of Harry of West Montrose and George of Cambridge, Galt. Survived also by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister and one brother.
    Service was held at the Robert Trench Funeral Home in Listowel on Aug. 1. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel.
