    RAMSAY - The passing of Mrs. Joyce Ivy Ramsay age 45 years of 310 Main Street, Delisle, Sask. occurred at her residence on Wednesday, August 23rd, 1978. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 25th at 2:00 p.m., from the Delisle United Church conducted by Rev. John Crawford. Surviving are: her loving husband, Charles; <names of living individuals have been removed>; her father and mother: Mr. and Mrs. William Green of Saskatoon; two sisters: Miss Lila Green of Saskatoon and <names of living individuals have been removed>. and three brothers: Ken Green of Rosetown, Sask.; Howard Green of Bassano, Alta. and <names of living individuals have been removed> The late Mrs. Ramsay was born and raised in Delisle, married her husband, Charles, on October 2nd, 1953 and resided at Delisle until her passing. Friends who wish may make Memorial donations to the charity of the donor's choice. Cremation to follow. Arrangements are in care of Park Funeral Chapel.

    Green -- Howard William passed away February 6, 1996 at Bassano, AB at age 64. Howard (Buster) was the son of William and Elaine Green, formerly of Delisle and Saskatoon. Howard was born and grew up in Delisle, completing his hgh school education there. He played hockey with the Humboldt Junior, Wetaskawin, Alberta and Milden Mintos teams. Howard married <living> in 1951. He was employed by Searle Grain, working in Rosetown and Anglia as agent. The family then resided in Netherhill and Eston before returning to Rosetown where Howard was employed by Wilson Agencies and Jessie taught at Howard Powell and Walter Aseltine Schools. Prior to this Howard and Jessie participated in square and round dancing, with Howard calling for as many as 10 clubs and Jessie also providing instruction. They moved to Bassano, AB in 1973 when Howard became a partner in an insurance and real estate business. Howard was an ardent sports participant in hockey, baseball, golf and curling. He was honored as "Sportsman of the Year" by the community of Bassano and was involved in the design and construction of golf courses there, and in Rosetown. Howard is survived by his wife, <names of living individuals have been removed> and seven grandchildren. <names of living individuals have been removed>; along with nieces and nephews, also mourn the loss of their brother and uncle. Howard was predeceased by his parents, and grandparents; two sisters, Lila Green and Joyce Ramsay; and a brother-in-law, Charles Ramsay. Howard lived each day as a challenge to accomplish something to share with others and to be creative. He had an abundance of energy and enthusiasm for his family, friends and community. A memorial service for Howard was held from the Bassano Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 9, 1996 with Reverend Hector Rose officiating.
