Obituary for Charles L. Pray:

Charles L. Pray, 51, Savannah, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1992, at a St. Joseph hospital following complications from heart disease. (sic)

For the past 19 years, Mr. Pray was an art teacher for the Savannah R-lll elementary school district.

Born at Savannah, he had lived most of his life there. He received a bachelor of science degree in art education from Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph.

Mr. Pray was a member of the Savannah Masonic Lodge No. 71, A.F. & A.M.; and the Scottish Rite Bodies of St. Joseph. He was a former scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop No. 60 at Savannah. He served with the Army from 1958 to 1960.

In 1969, he married the former Judy J. Harms at Weatherby, Mo. She survives of the home.

Mr. Pray was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd C., in 1966.

Additional survivors: a son Jon of the home; a daughter, Jennifer of the home; his mother and stepfather, Violet M. and Dave L. Bisig of Savannah; a brother, Max of Savannah; a half brother, Randy Bisig of Jefferson City, Mo.; a stepbrother, Dennis Bisig of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Donna Klug of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Lee Wren of Fairfield, Pa.; and a stepsister, Sharon Greiner of Oregon, Mo.

Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah. Burial: Savannah Cemetery with flag-folding ceremony by members of the Dick Munkres American Legion Post 287 of Savannah. Family visitation: after 7 tonight, at the funeral home.
