  8. In May 1946 is when Charles was moved to the State Hospital in Provo, Utah. He was there 4 months and 19 days before he died. He lived on 195 Vernon Ave in Logan.
  9. Charles A Pinney Former Marysvale Man, Dies in Logan: Logan, Charles Archie Pinney, 80, northern Utah pioneer died Wednesday of last week at his home following a short illness. The son of Richard Charles and Susanna Duguard Pinney, he was born January 26, 1866 in Kanab. Mr Pinney was with the sugar factory at Almaga for 15, then operated a blacksmith shop in Smithfield for a number of years. He had been a resident of Logan since 1937. On February 1, 1887 he married Grace Scroggings of Marysvale. She died June 21 1901, and or 1911, he married Thora Olga Busk in the Logan Temple. He is survived by his widow, five sons and daughter, Mrs. Olive Larsen; Mrs Edith McNeil, Logan; Mrs. Nora Rose, Monroe; Mrs. Opal P Clements, Denver Colo, Robert B Pinney, Yuma Ariz; 19 grandchilden, two brothers and a sister William Robert Pinney, Monroe; Seth George Pinney, California; Mrs. Lydia Marian Golden, Panguitch.
