Obituary CHARLES A. OSBORNE, 79, IS DEAD OF PNEUMONIA -- Charles A. Osborne, aged 79, of 320 Belmont Ave., died at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday in South Side unit of the Youngstown Hospital, following a short illness of pneumonia. Born in Canfield, July 20, 1861, Mr. Osborne was the son of Freeman and Susan Osborne. An employee of the Thornton Laundry Co. for 26 years, he first had a laundry route in Struthers and East Youngstown, now Campbell. After several years on this route, he became manager of the storage house. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, and was president of the Osborne family for 14 years. Mr. Osborne leaves his wife, Rosa L.; a son, Freeman, of Los Angeles; a brother, Frank, of Youngstown; two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Montgomery and Mrs. Frances Nebhut of Cleveland, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the King Funeral Home. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening.
