[Note: the fact that both these births are 28 Sep makes it seem likely one is an error. Subsequent records (e.g., 1850 census (line 41-note the "Charles" on the next page is Francis and his wife) and 1900 census (line 67)) show that a son Charles was born in 1831, so since no death record is found, make it appear the 1829 record might be an error.]
