Charles Lilly Sr. Charles E. Lilly Sr., 80, died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday at Holiday Health Care.He retired in 1978 after 35 years with the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp.He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114.Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Helen L.; five daughters, Janet Goode of Turner Station, Ky., Judith L. Kalinowski, Maureen L. Esparza and Patricia E. Hill, all of Evansville, and Magaret I. Hamilton of Chicago; three sons, Charles E. Lilly Jr. and Michael D. Ogden both of Evansville, and Ronald Ogden of Altus, Okla.; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, the Revs. Michael Thompson and Gary Lanham officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, where Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memoiral Club will conduct military rites.Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m today and from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
