Charlie T. Hudson, 95, who has resided in this area all but a few months of his life, died Sunday night after a long illness.
He was born Sept. 25, 1863, in Whiteside County, Ill., and came to Wisconsin with his parents when less than two years old.
On Nov. 5, 1882, he was married to Myra Martin. Since her death on May 27, 1928, he had lived alone on South Third St., Milton Junction, as long as his health permitted.
Survivors include one son, R. Ainslie Hudson of Janesville; four daughters, Mrs. Harry Arnold of Edgerton, Mrs. Jessie Davis of Janesville, Mrs. David Arnold and Mrs. William Heinig, Sr., both of Milton; one sister, Mrs. Maude Cashore, Milton Junction; 28 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Will C. Hudson, and a grandson, Donald Hudson.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the Albrecht Funeral Home, the Rev. W. S. Carr of Milton officiating. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
