The 1850 census lists Charles Fry as a male age 40. It gives his wife's name as Margaret, age 44. It also lists his children as Frederick, Susan, Elizabeth, and Isiah. Margaret must have passed away and Charles remarried Christina in the mid 1860's. A transcribed copy of the 1870 census lists Charles Fry as a white male age 59 whose occupation is farming. It lists his birthplace as Pennsylvania, and gives his property value at 4500.00 and his personal value at 1000.00. It also says that Elizabeth, a 79 year old white female is boarding with him and his family. Presumably this is his mother. , ,
