    BEDFORD---Cecil L. Spoonmore, 80, of StoneBridge Health Campus, formerly of Bloomington, died at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at StoneBridge Health Campus.

    Born July 31, 1927, in Avoca, he was the son of Elza and Ona (Harp) Spoonmore. He married Ruth Jackson on October 16, 1948, and she survives. He retired from NWSC in the Supply Department in 1978, was a member of Highland Village Church of Christ in Bloomington and was a WWII veteran.

    Surviving with the wife are one son, Roger Spoonmore and his wife, Rose, of Bedford; two grandsons, Ryan Spoonmore and his wife, Beth, of Greenwood, and Rick Spoonmore and his fiancee, Lori, of Bloomington; two brothers, Dale Spoonmore of Owensburg and Garold Spoonmore of Avoca. He was preceded in death by his parents.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23rd, from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary, with Brother Daryll Simon and Rick Burks officiating. Burial will follow in Owensburg Cemetery, with Military rites accorded at the graveside.
