    'JOHN and CATHERINE INGRAM ... arried in Haldimand, Ontario from Ireland in the early 1830's. They homesteaded on Lot 30 Concession 5 in Haldimand Township. Their family consisted of one son, Robert born in 1837 and other children who died in infancy. Catherine died in 1875 and John in 1878.'

    Catherine must have died before 1875, as her husband was listed as a widower in the 1871 census.
