Catherine Loughner, 90, of Penn, died Monday, June 3, 2013, in her home. She was born Nov. 25, 1922, in Edna, a daughter of the late Wassell and Katherine Harsavitch. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a licensed practical nurse by Baldock Health Care Centre in North Huntingdon, and also worked for many years at Monsour Medical Center in Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester R. Loughner, in 1975. She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Evard, of Rowland Heights, Calif., and Katherine Brosk and husband, Roy, of Penn; and two grandchildren, Mathew and Andrew Brosk.
