Some Ancestry Member Trees claim that Catherine was born in 1782 and the daughter of Daniel Fink, Catherine's grandfather, but the West Virginia Deaths Index clearly shows that she was born in 1805, and was the daughter of Daniel Fink, Jr. and his wife Polly.
