    Catherine was a first cousin once removed to Daniel Boone. They both descended from George Boone II & Mary Maugridge. Catherine's first husband was William DeHart, who died and left Catherine a widow. James Ingels Jr. was her second husband.

    Her burial place is an undetermined spot at Grant's Station, which no longer exists, but which was located on the other side of Bryan Station Road from the old Ingels Farmhouse on Bryan Station Rd., in Bourbon Co., KY.
