    Although this registration names her father as John Moffat, I beleive this was actually her late husband. The informant was Annie Moffatt, and Catherine was to be buried at Harriston, Ontario. All these are consistent with other sources.

    Stone reads:

    Entered into rest Oct. 22, 1918 Aged 82 yrs. 5 mos. A native of Isle

    (rear) WM. D. MOFFAT Died July 9, 1884 Aged 16 yrs. 10 mos.
    ROBT. O. MOFFAT Died Oct. 7, 1885 Aged 19 yrs. 7 mo.
