He arrived on the ship "Charming Nancy" 8 Oct 1737 with a large group of Mennonites. His wife Catherina arrived with him and also his children as follows; Hans, Claus Jr., Anna, Jacob, Catherina and Christian. There was also a Christoffel Erb, under age 16 years old on board the same ship.'
