Obituary[8] 14 Apr 1980 NORTH NEW PORTLAND -- Carroll L. Kinney, 74, died Friday in a Skowhegan hospital after a long illness. Born in Madrid, June 27, 1905, the son of Bert and Minnie Stinchfield Kinney, he was educated in Madrid and Phillips. He married Minne K. Harding in 1972. He was lumberman, raised sheep and later was a gun dealer.
Survivors include his widow of North New Portland; a son, Leland T. of Augusta; two daughters, Phyllis L. Kinney of Starks and Mrs. Helen Moore of Anson; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Laura) Berry of Avon; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
