She is on the 1900 census, age 19, with her parents in Des Moines, Polk Co., Ia., liv ing at 839 19th St. (ED 68, p 14A, fam #255/264) Everett was the son of William and Rose (Like) Dill. According to a newspaper account, Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Ia., 29 May 1929, she died at her home 1325 45th St., Des Moines from accidental gas poisoning. Another article on 2 June reports "her estranged husband questioned."[Rogers, Janet] Apparently there was no further action on this matter, as Janet Rogers tells us that he later married an "Enid" and they sold the property at 1325 45th St. in 1935. He was a paint salesman.
