- Carrie, born marrried first a man named Pietzel who was aferward implicated in the HOMER MURDER CASE, which gained such notoriety some years later, Peitzel was excuted for this murder. Carrie married the second ime a Mr. VAN ARSDALE of Media, Ill. He died there, but Carrie lives on there and operates the farm. Her mother, Lucinda Canning lives with her.
