    Mrs. Claude B. Nyce
    Carrie, wife of Claude B. Nyce, of Wile avenue, Souderton, passed away at Riverview Hospital, Norristown, Thursday evening of last week at 8 o'clock. Aged, 20 years, 11 months and 10 days.Mrs. Nyce's death followed the birth of a still-born child.She was a daughter of Allen H. and Sallie (Schafer) Walters, of Sumneytown. Her marriage to Mr. Nyce, who is a mail carrier at Souderton, took place about seven months ago and only recently the couple started housekeeping. Her demise is a great shock to the husband and family and a large number of friends extend heartfelt sympathy.Beside the grief stricken husband and the parents, there survive fivebrothers and three sisters -- John Walters, Allen Walters, Francis Walters and Edward Walters, of Sumneytown; William Walters, of Green Lane R. D.; Elizabeth, wife of Elmer Benner, of Souderton; Sallie and Clara Walters, at home.Funeral services for Mrs. Nyce and the infant child were held Monday afternoon from the late home with further services at the Sumneytown Union church. Interment was made in adjoining cemetery.She was a member of the Lutheran congregation and Rev. Cyrus E. Held, her pastor, conducted the services.Funeral Director Wesley J. Moyer of Souderton, was in charge.
