Facts and Events
Name[1][2] Rev. Carl Aulenbach
Gender Male
Marriage to Carol. Engel

It would seem that this AULENBACH family did not remain in the Stone Creek area of Tuscarawas County, Ohio, for very long, as there are only a few Aulenbach pages (4) in the Zion's index, and all of them are at the start of the book. No Aulenbach listings in the marriage or death sections of the book.

A follow up research note that Rev. Carl Aulenbach was the first resident pastor of St. Paul's Church in Port Washington, a few miles southeast of Stone Creek, Ohio. He also served in Zion's Congregation (apparently the Lutheran half) from 1852-1860. He also organized St. Jacob's Church in 1856. Apparently, he left the Stone Creek area, and became the pastor at Ruslin Hills (wherever that is!).

A check of the "Tuscarawas County, Ohio Cemeteries" revealed that there were no burials of Aulenbachs in Jefferson Township.
