A Record of My Family
I was the Second son of my Parents Nehemia Hobart and Rachel his Wife Named Caleb and was born on thursday bout 5 oClock after noon August 16th 1744
My Wife Named Anna was Eldest Daughter of Lievt Bjm [Benjamin] Hopkins & Anna his wife of Amherst: Was born Sepmr 22nd 1755
We ware married february 22nd 1776 by the Rev Mr Wilkins at at [sic] Amherst Moovd home to Pepperrell March 21st
May 20th 1780 This Day my wife Departed this Life about the mddle of the after noon Which was Saterday the next day after Dark Day [19 May 1780, wikipedia article ]; and was buried Monday 22nd We livd in the married S[t]ate four Years and 27 days he[r] age was 25 years 8 months wa[n]ting two days Wen we was married I was 31 years 5 months & 27 days old She was 21 years and 5 months Old

Thlrsday February 17th 1785 this day I was married to Mrs Hannah Wright Eldest Daughter of Mr Josiah Wright and Dolle his Wife: Moo[v]d my home march 22nd my second Wife We ware married by the Rev Mr Bullard
A Record of our Children Caleb the Eldest was born Novemr 30th 1785 about the Shut of Dalight
Anna the 2ond born thursday the 15th of February 1786 at or about 11 oClock in the Evning
Movd home a gain April ye 16th 1788 to my p[l]ace
Hannah ye 3rd was born July 18th 1788 at about 10 oClock in the Evening Which was Sabath Evening Aand Died monday evening 25 of August about 11 oClock
Movd back again Causd by the Death of my Father April 27th 1789
Nehemiah the 4th was born Monday a little before day light was gone which wsa July 13th 1789
Sarai the 5th was born Wedesday March ye 30th 1791 about half an hour after Sun Set
Daniel 6th born Wedensday ye 14th of Novr 1792 at noon
Dalle the 7th was born the 24th of June 1794 betwixt 9 & 10 oClock in the fore noon And died thursday the 15th of July at the braking of the day
Jotham the Eighth born on Saterday Novemr 17th 1795 at half after 9 oClock in the fore noon and died tuesday Decmr 17th a little before day May 1796 and poorly a consideable time [sic]
Sabath day Morning 7 oClock April 2nd 1797 Departed this Life in a Suddin manner My Second Wife and was buried the 4th She died in travel [travail, i.e., labor] not Deliverd We livd in the married State 12 years and Sixteen Days May I hear the Calls of Divine Providence and be prepired to follow them how Soon or hos [sic, ? how] Suddin Soever I Shall be Called may I be found Reddy having my Peace made with my Judge
May 16th 1797 this day Brok Up House Keeping put out my Children moovd to Brother Healds the 19th Set out for Kenebeck
April 1799 movd my Children to where we now Live my Eldest Daughter but a few days over twelve years old and Set up house keeping by ourSelves
Setpecemr 28th 1809 My Eldest Daughter Anna was Married to Daniel William in Solon by Col Heald Esq. April 12th 1801 they began housekeeping
March 12th 1811 my Eldest Son Caleb was was [sic] married to Hannah Paul in Greewick by the Rev Mr Blodgett
Tuesday June 8th 1811 My Yongest Daughter Sarai was Married to Wallter Beament in Solon by Col Heald Esqr
Thirsday March 23rd 1815 My Yongest Son Daniel was married to Polly Thurston in Maddinson by Col Blackel Esqr
Marcy William Died the 30 of august 1833 aged six years & two months & 12 days

our Father Caleb Hobart Died December 15 1837 friday morning fore of the Clock in the morning aged 93 years & 4 months.
