    5 Feb 1721/2: Bond of "Elisabeth Carter widow ... of Charlestown" as administratrix "of the Estate of her late husband Caleb Carter late of Charlestown in the s'd county dec'd Intestate".
    27 May 1727: Account of "Elizabeth Carter Relict Widow and administratrix to ye Estate of her late Husband Caleb Carter of Charlestown" approved. Assent given by "Joshua Scottow Guard'n for the decd brother John's two Children". The judge notes, "I have seen vouchers for the greatest part of the article of the Mother's funeral".
    26 Aug 1729: Further account of "Elizabeth Carter Relict Widow & Administ'x of ... her late husband Caleb Carter of Charlestown", mentions debts paid to "daught'r [of] Brother Jn'o Carter", to "mother Susanna Damon". Noted as present is "Sarah Carter widow of Jn'o Carter dec'd mother of ye 2 Children John & Mary the next heirs (& only) At Law".
