According to the Dianne Pride email of 11/22/03, the 1830 Alabama census showed the Burton Pride household with 1 male 5-10, 2 males 10-15, 1 male 15-20, 1 male 70-80 (Burton would have been 73), 1 female 20-30, and one female 40-50 (Elizabeth Houston, his third wife). The same email stated that Burton Pride got a $60 annual allowance from the Alabama Pension Roll of 1835. He was listed as a (past) private in the Virginia Militia (Revolutionary War). He was supposedly married three times and had 16 children.
