  2. Source:The Vinton memorial, comprising a genealogy of the descendants of John Vinton of Lynn, 1648 : also, genealogical sketches of several allied families, namely, those, p. 385, identifies this as a second daughter named Bridget, distinct from the one whose birth is recorded in 1701. This makes sense because it is not possible to see how any reasonable math error could account for the discrepancy in age at death (14 in 1736, i.e., b. 1722), and because it would be expected that when a namesake daughter dies, that the name would be reused. Despite the long time gap following the previous child Asa, b. 1713, and the parents nearing 50, the explicit identification of her parents on the gravestone makes it clear this is not a grandchild. The first Bridget probably lived at least until 1704 when Phebe was born, or that child would have been named Bridget, and the 1722 child was the first girl available to give the name to. So the first Bridget would appear to have died sometime in that large window, 1704-1722.
