HARVEYVILLE - Bonnie E. Atwood, 53, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007, at her home near Harveyville. She was born August 29, 1954, at Waverly, Missouri, with a twin sister to Clarence E. and Alberta E. Reith Bredehoeft. She graduated from Santa Fe High School in Alma, Missouri in 1972. She married Dale Scott on February 24, 1973. He died in 1996. On April 6, 2002 she married Dean Atwood. Survivors include her husband, Dean L. Atwood, of the home; her mother, Alberta Bredehoeft, Alma, Missouri; one step daughter, Amy Atwood, of the home; three step sons, Dean Lee Atwood, Jr., Alma, Georgia, Craig Allen Atwood, Topeka and Travis James Atwood, Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Janette Copeland, Olathe, Kansas, and Connie Bredehoeft, Teresa Bredehoeft and Shirlyn Bredehoeft all of Higginsville, Missouri; two brothers, Allen Bredehoeft, Higginsville, Missouri and Ronald Bredehoeft, Alma, Missouri; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 22, at the United Methodist Church in Harveyville. Interment will follow at Auburn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM, Friday at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Eskridge.
