Bobby Ray Bryant, age 58, of Center Ridge, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 20, 2004. He was born October 30, 1945, in Morrilton, Arkansas, a son of the late Ellis Levi Bryant. He was a lineworker at Arrow Automotive, member of Portland Missionary Baptist Church, poultry farmer, school bus driver for Nemo Vista Schools, and Fire Chief for Center Ridge Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years of his 26 years as a member. Survivors include his wife, Peggy (Mallett) Bryant of Center Ridge; mother, Elsie (Holmes) Bryant of Center Ridge; one son, Christopher Bryant of Center Ridge; one daughter, Jacinda Bryant of Center Ridge; two sisters, Sharon Kay Bryant and Pearl Dean Bryant, both of Center Ridge; two grandsons, Nich-olas and Zachary Bryant, both of Center Ridge; and one granddaughter, Stacey Bryant of Center Ridge. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at the Harris Chapel. Burial was at Middleton Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Pallbearers were Tommy Stanley Sr., Curtis Connor, Lynn Bryant, Charles Wilson, James Wilson, Terry Davidson, Ed Hart, and Dennis Maxwell. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Center Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, Angelo Paladino, and grandchildren. References
