Blanche married Noah Verne Reed (1881-1939) in Edgar County in 1902 per IL County Marriage Records, 1800-1940. They lived in Paris, IL their entire lives. She had four children: Harry Verne (1903-1944), Thomas Bertram (1904-1938), Paul (1905-?), and Blanche Lucille (1916-2004). Thomas "Bert" Reed was a Paris police officer for twelve years before being shot while confronting a suspect at the rail yards. He had a wife, Grace Belle Reed, and two young children. They divorced in Michigan in Dec 1931 after having one daughter, Mildred Lucille (1922-1991). Mildred married a Neal and then Robert G. Woodard. Paul married Perditha Smith in 1925, but was divorced by 1940. Blanche L. married George H. Vance in 1945 and moved to Chicago.
