The marriage of Miss (Beverly) Jayne Brown, daughter of Mrs. J. (John) Carl Brown of East Main Street and (Wallace) Edward Sloan, son of Mrs. Nellie Sloan of Cottonwood, Indian Lake, Ohio, was solemnized at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the First Presbyterian church. Rev. H. T. Reinecke, pastor of the church, officated and read the single ring ceremony. Mt. and Mrs. Hoover Brown, Fort Thomas, KY., brother and sister-in-law of the bride, attended the couple. Members of the immediate families were present for the wedding. The bride wore a shite gown of wool crepe with blue embroidery, white hat and accesories and her flowers were a corsage of stephanotis and gardenias. Mrs. Brown wore a powder blue suit with navy accessories and corsage of Joanna Hill roses. After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Sloan will reside at Cottonwood, Indian Lake where Mr. Sloan is manager of the Cottonwood resort. They will be a home after the middle of June. Mrs. Sloan has been associated with the L & B Security company and is a member of the local chapter of Eta Pi Kappa sorority. She is a graduate of the local high school. Mr. Sloan attended Ohio State and Purdue university.
