Bessie E. Ludy

Bessie E. Ludy, 88, Joplin, MO, died at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, December 5, 1999 at St. John's Medical Center, Joplin after a short illness.

Mrs. Ludy was born March 10, 1911 at Duenweg, MO. She was a lifelong area resident and a homemaker.

Her husband, Robert N. Ludy, preceded her in death on June 13, 1987.

She is survived by a son, Bryan Ludy, Joplin; a brother, Howard Shipman, Duquesne, MO; and a sister, Helen Chew, of Joplin.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby, MO. Burial will be at Newtonia I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. The casket will be closed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday to remain closed.
