Source:Ward, Andrew Henshaw. History of the Town of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts from Its Settlement in 1717 to 1829, p. 225, says Elizabeth, d/o John Bouker and Freedom Bigelow, b. 9 Feb. 1735, m. 1754 Nathan Eager of Lancaster. The Shrewsbury VRs, p. 129, show an intention of Betty with "Nathan Eager of Lancaster" on 9 Mar. 1754. But Source:Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records to the End of the Year 1849, p. 247, show the marriage of Nathan Eager to Sarah Goodenow on 5 Feb 1755. This is the marriage given to Nathan by Source:Hudson, Charles. History of the Town of Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, p. 356. There is no sign that the marriage to Betty Bouker ever occurred (no marriage record, no births, no death record). Thus, Betty is probably the person who married Samuel Bryant in 1760, appearing to be the only one of that name who is of the right age. This is also the conclusion of Ann Lainhart in her NEHGR article, p. 137:259.
