That Bethia belongs to a different family, Family:James Allen and Bethia Kingman (1).
One must question how Mitchell knows that the infant in this family was named Bethia, since her birth is not recorded, only her death, which gives no name. If the name of this infant was Bethia, one would expect that since she died in 1741, the next female child, Susanna b. 1742, would have been given the name of Bethia instead of Susanna. But whatever the name, since both of two children in the other family (James and Bethia (Kingman) Allen) lived to marry, it is clear the death record for a child of James must belong to this family.
