It was a Kirby Lumber Company town located in East Texas near the town of Buna (Jasper County). The movie star, Ginger Rogers (Virginia McMath), lived there as a young girl (2 years old) with her father. One day Ginger's mother came and kidnapped her and took her away, where she eventually ended up in California.

During Jasper County's 160th Birthday Celebration, the part of young Ginger Rogers was played by Rachel Ann Buckmaster, who told the story of this event.
