Beriah Grandey II moved to St. Lawrence County, New York to a little village named Brookdale. The village was later nicknamed "Little Scotland" due to many Scotsmen living there.

Beriah grandey II married a village girl named Esther Perry in 1792. Two little girls were born to them, but both died in their infancy. Esther also died.

Later, Beriah Grandey II married his first wife's sister, Lydia Perry. They had some children but there is only two that there is a record of. Ezra, the oldest born in 1799 and Nicanor born in 1810.
