Bentzley H. Stickle, age 91, of Cave City, Kentucky, formerly of Route 1, Paterson Hill Road, Jones, Michigan, died suddenly Monday, 2 November 1987 in Jenks Foster Home in Berrien Springs.

 He was born 4 May 1896, in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Walter and Emma (Holmes) Stickle. On 10 June 1922 in New Buffalo he married Della May Barnes who preceded him in death 1 Februar y 1987. He served in the United States Army during World War I and had resided in Cave City since 1984. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newberg.
 Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Garret (Leone) Zwakenberg of Cave City, Mrs. John (Thelma ) Hurless of Seymour, Indiana and Mrs. Robert (Doris) Stick of Niles; 1 son, John W. of Marce llus; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Esther Ferris of Palm Harbor , Florida and 1 brother, Harold of Clearwater, Florida. He was preceded in death by a daughter Ardith Stickle, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, 5 November 1987 in the First Baptist Church of Newberg with Rev. William Armstrong of the church officiating. Burial will be in Poe' s Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church of Newberg or the Salvation Army.
 Pallbearers were Garret Zwakenberg Jr., Jerry Zwakenberg, Terry Zwakenberg, John Hurless Jr ., Kenneth Hurless, Dennis Stick, Timothy Stick, Robert Hurless, Bill Stickle, and Michael Stickle.
