(4) 1817 widow Candance Allen of Princeton. Lieutenant of a company that marched to Cambridge when Revolution started, Justice of the Peace, selectman of Sterling, called "the Old Squire". [Note: the wives are not identified very well. His third wife was Olive Holman as shown by her previous husband's probate. His second wife was not a Holman at all, as shown by the marriage record naming her as Abigail French.]
