    (4280) BENJAMIN COLEMAN OLMSTED, Danbury, Conn. b. Sept. 26, 1766; d. at Le Roy, N. Y., Jan. 19, 1859; ... Benjamin C. Olmsted and wife were members of the Society of Friends, sometimes called Quakers. He followed farming in Tompkins County, N. Y. He was a soldier in the War of 1812, his name being included in the list on the beautiful soldiers' monument in the public square at Le Roy, N. Y., where he died.
